The GPS Tape Measure app is a convenient tool for calculating distances between two points, making it useful for a variety of purposes. Its simplicity is a standout feature, as users can easily click on a button and save their current location.

It is important to note that this application is not designed for measuring small distances or for indoor use. Additionally, it is common for there to be an error margin of up to 5 meters, so it may not be suitable for precise measurements such as the size of a car or one's arm.

The app offers multiple units for measurement, including metric (kilometers and meters) and imperial (miles and feet). Users can also change the coordinate format during runtime for added flexibility.

Notable features of the GPS Tape Measure app include the ability to easily share your position and distance through messaging, social networking sites, or email. Users can also check their position on Google Maps and share their current coordinates via SMS. The app allows measurements to be saved and viewed on Google Maps within the app itself. A simple tutorial is available to guide users in using the app effectively, while copy-pasting data can be done with the push of a button. In addition to a full-featured smartphone app, GPS Tape Measure also includes a brand new application for Wear OS. This allows users to make measurements conveniently without needing to use their phone and the data can be synchronized later for viewing on a larger screen.
